DOGE Sued Amid Departure

President Trump’s non-governmental advisory committee, DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) was sued as soon as Trump was sworn in, according to The Hill, which says that in three separate suits, “The plaintiffs each claim DOGE is covered by FACA, which mandates federal advisory committees meet transparency requirements like having a charter, fairly balanced membership and a designated federal officer to call meetings.” DOGE has also just lost its co-leader, Vivik Ramaswamy, who will no longer participate in the committee and plans to run for governor of Ohio. Some media reports that he was forced out by Elon Musk, the other committee head. Musk has indicated he plans to eliminate $2 trillion in government spending through the work of the non-government advisory committee DOGE. Here is an earlier post for background.
